Nigerian Senator Ifeanyi Ubah is confirmed dead in London

Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, representing Anambra South and a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has passed away.

Senator Ubah died in a hotel in London, United Kingdom, two days after traveling there, IDOMA VOICE reports.

The news of his death has been confirmed in a group chat of senators, where his colleagues have started to pour in tributes.

Just days before his death, Senator Ubah’s campaign council made a significant donation of N71 million to the APC in Anambra State.

This contribution, which included N50 million from Ubah himself, was aimed at bolstering the party’s presence and effectiveness in the region.

As of now, the senate has yet to issue an official statement regarding the incident.
