Nigeria and Bordeaux forward Joshua Erowoli Orisunmihare Oluwaseun Maja has been nominated for October’s Player of the Month award after an impressive start to the season in France.
The 23-year-old striker is among the nominees for the Ligue 2 October Player of the Month award alongside Julien Maggiotti and Gautier Lloris.

Maja has scored seven goals so far this season, just behind Krasso of St. Ettiene who has scored eight.
His goals have been pivotal in ensuring Bordeaux charge for the Ligue 2 title and top flight promotion as they are only two points behind league leaders Le Havre.
However, Lionel Messi has been nominated alongside Amine Gouiri and Martin Terrier for the Ligue 1 October Player of the Month award.
