Nigerian user receives N36m from Twitter’s ads revenue sharing program

A Nigerian user known as Logik, with the handle #iamlogikk, expressed his joy on Saturday after receiving a payment of N36,858,567 from Twitter’s ads revenue sharing program, introduced by the platform’s owner, Elon Musk.

Logik proudly shared screenshots of his payment statistics on his Twitter page and captioned the post with a simple message: “36m… God bless Elon Musk.”

Twitter’s new payment plan was initially launched in the United States of America in July, and it has recently been extended to verified global users who are also Twitter Blue subscribers.

Several Nigerian content creators on the microblogging app have started receiving payments through this program as well. One example is Bamidele, who boasts an impressive following of 102.5k users. He was eligible to receive N491k on the app but chose to withdraw N245k at the time.
