Nigeria’s Lookman tops AFCON 2025 goal contributions chart
Nigeria’s Ademola Lookman currently leads the goal contributions chart at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco.
The Atalanta forward has been involved in seven goal contributions so far, scoring three goals and providing four assists.
Trailing him is fellow Nigerian teammate Victor Osimhen, who has six goal contributions (four goals, two assists).
Morocco’s Brahim Díaz and Egypt’s Mohamed Salah follow with five goal contributions each, while Nigeria’s Akor Adams, Senegal’s Sadio Mané, Ivory Coast’s Amad Diallo, and Morocco’s Ayoub El-Kaabi have four contributions apiece.
This comes ahead of the AFCON semi-final fixtures on Wednesday, where Nigeria will face Morocco, and Senegal will take on Egypt.
Lookman’s performance underscores Nigeria’s attacking strength as the Super Eagles aim for a place in the final.
