Nigeria’s Ndidi scores as Leicester City beat Chelsea 2-0

Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi scored the opening goal on Tuesday night as host Leicester City defeated their London visitors, Chelsea 2-0 at the King Power Stadium.

Ndidi thumps the ball home in off the post to put the Foxes ahead in the 6th minute. His first premier league goals in 16 months. And third against Chelsea.

James Maddison’s 41st minute strike shattered the hope for struggling Chelsea in the first half.

Cool finish by James Maddison, passing the ball past Edouard Mendy, to extend Leicester’s lead.

The match which was televized on Super Sport was monitored by IDOMA VOICE.

It was a goalless second half as both clubs struggled for goals.

At the end, it was victory for the foxes.

Leicester have won their last 22 Premier League matches when leading by 2+ goals at half-time.

And they continue that trend against Chelsea.
