Nnamdi Kanu reacts to alleged kidnapping of Anambra residents by soldiers

The leader of the Idigiginous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, has reacted to an alleged invasion and kidnapping of residents of Ihiala and Ozubulu in Ekwusigo Local Government Areas of Anambra State by the military.

Nnamdi Kanu made the claim in a series of tweets on Sunday morning, alleging that the soldiers, who he described as terrorists, arrived in the areas “in over 30 Toyota Hilux vans”.

“There are confirmed sightings of ongoing abductions & kidnappings of people around OZUBULU and IHIALA right now by Fulani terrorists/soldiers of the @HQNigerianArmy,” Kanu tweeted.

“They arrived in over 30 Toyota Hilux vans. Some were seen patrolling on foot around these areas.

“When will this insult on we Biafrans come to an end?”

The IPOB leader further called for the dissolution of the country in response to a recent statement by Zamfara State Governor, Bello Matawalle wherein he(the Governor) said that the North may retaliate attacks on its people by Southerners.

Kanu added, “The only way the South can respond to this sort of potent THREAT is to make Nigeria’s DISSOLUTION more urgent”.
