The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) officially launched its computer-based recruitment tests on Saturday, as part of its efforts to fill various positions within the state-owned oil giant.
In a statement posted on its official Facebook account, NNPCL revealed that a total of 45,689 applicants are competing for the available vacancies.
The company emphasized that the recruitment process is designed to be transparent, and only the most qualified candidates will be selected at the end of the exercise.
“The Computer-Based Aptitude Test for NNPC Ltd.’s recruitment kicks off today at various centers nationwide, with 45,689 applicants vying for positions in a fair and inclusive process,” the statement read.
NNPCL Group CEO, Mele Kyari, who visited one of the testing centers, assured that the recruitment process would be smooth, transparent, and credible, with a focus on selecting the best candidates.
“As an equal opportunity employer, NNPC Ltd. has made special provisions to ensure that applicants with disabilities can participate in the test without any obstacles,” he added.
This recruitment exercise follows an earlier announcement by NNPCL’s spokesperson in July 2024, signaling the launch of the fresh recruitment drive.
