Nollywood actor Odunlade Adekola has responded to Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, known as Portable, after the singer confronted him over a viral video.

The incident occurred when Portable’s fourth babymama, actress Ashabi Simple, was seen in a video hugging Odunlade on a movie set. In the clip, Odunlade jokingly said, “Hope you told Portable you want to hold me? Tell him you want to hold me.”

Portable, displeased by the remark, reached out to Odunlade via direct message, expressing his concerns about the comment. He stressed that he does not tolerate any jokes about his family and personal life, saying, “I don’t use my home to make movies, why would you say that? Did she tell me before coming? Do you guys not take money from her?”

Odunlade quickly apologized, clarifying that the statement was not meant to disrespect Portable or his family. He wrote, “My brother good evening. I am just seeing this now. I love you and I think you know that. I can never disrespect your home or disrespect you. Your family is my family.”

Portable accepted the apology, expressing his respect for Odunlade, and responded, “I respect you, boss. I really appreciate you. God bless you.”
