The All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ogbadibo LGA of Benue State has stated that there were no Governorship and State House of Assembly primaries in the area.
This is coming following the attack on the state chairman of the party, Comrade Austine Agada.
The LG chairman of the party in a statement by Hon. Comdr. Agbara Oche, APC Secretary, Ogbadibo said the party did receive reports of non-availability of electoral materials in many wards of the local government.

This is to bring to the notice of the National Leadership of our dear party (APC), party Stakeholders in Benue State, INEC and the general public that Direct Primaries for Governorship and State House of Assembly slated for yesterday, 26th May, 2022, was not conducted in line with basic requirements of the election in Ogbadibo Local Government Area of Benue State.
Our claims spin from the fact that electoral materials, particularly voter’s register, were not presented to the local government Party Chairman, Hon.Ugwu Francis Abbah for inspection and usage in Ogbadibo LGA. Besides, the party Chairman in the local government has received reports of non-availability of electoral materials in many wards of the local government.
Consequently, APC EXCOs in Ogbadibo LGA of Benue State, hereby unanimously and categorically state that there was no Direct APC Primaries in Ogbadibo LGA of Benue State.
