The lawmaker representing Ado, Okpokwu and Ogbadibo Federal Constituency, Dr. Francis Ottah Agbo, has declared that the mandate of Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State in the 2019 election would not be taken through the back door.
Ottah, fondly called the feedback lawmaker, who described Ortom as “protector of the Benue” said his victory in 2019 was irrefutable and cannot be upturned by anyone.
He was speaking ahead of the Supreme Court’s verdict on the appeal filed by Emmanuel Jime of the APC against Ortom’s election.
In a Facebook post, Ottah, who the House Chairman, Drugs and Narcotics said, “Governor Samuel Ortom, the protector of the Benue trough is irremovable. His victory in 2019 was unassailable!”
