Nollywood actor, Charles Granville is dead

Charles Granville, a versatile talent in Nollywood as an actor, singer-songwriter, and filmmaker, has sadly passed away.

In a family-issued statement, it was revealed that the ‘Tinsel’ actor lost his battle with a prolonged illness on Thursday, September 21, 2023.

The statement, bearing the signature of a family representative, Iyenemri Somiari Granville, also noted that details regarding funeral arrangements will be shared in due time.

Prior to his demise, Charles Granville held the distinguished position of chairing the Advisory Committee on Arts and Entertainment.

His noteworthy filmography boasted titles such as ‘Last Flight To Abuja’, ‘Impossible Relationships’, ‘Dowry Man’, and an eagerly awaited forthcoming release titled ‘Locked’.
