Williams Uchemba, once a child actor who ascended to superstar status, is now mourning the loss of his mother, Lolo Chinyere Uchembah. Uchemba, however, takes comfort in the belief that his mother has entered heaven, as he expressed in a heartfelt tribute.
In his post, the movie star recounted seeing a vision of his mother transitioning to paradise mere minutes before receiving the news of her passing from the hospital.
He shared that his mother’s passing left a lasting impact on him, imprinting indelible lessons in his heart.
Refusing to bid a final farewell, the comedian chooses to say ‘see you later’ to his late mother, explaining that she has journeyed to a place that everyone aspires to reach someday upon departing from this earthly realm.
Accompanied by photos of his mother, he wrote: “Rest well Mum. A few minutes before you passed, you came to me in my room. You were physically in the room, yet your surroundings emanated a different place—a place I had never witnessed before. You were smiling at me.”
“Other unfamiliar figures were also present, dancing in jubilation as if they had won the lottery. I recognized you instantly, but there was a difference about you. You looked younger—resembling when you were 27 years old—with your hair gracefully resting on your shoulders, neatly brushed.”
“At that moment, I urged you to return, explaining that we had been praying fervently for your recovery. You replied in Igbo, ‘Alaikiri’m ebe’m nò, ebe’m no mara nma,’ which translates to ‘I like where I am, where I am is beautiful.’ Shortly after your words, a message arrived on my phone confirming your passing.”
“Instantly, Matthew 5:4 came alive within me, which reads, ‘Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.’ An overwhelming sense of solace enveloped my heart.”
“1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 also resonated within me, stating, ‘But we do not want you to be uninformed, brethren, about those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve as do the rest who have no hope.'”
“Your transition fortified my Christian faith, renewing my belief in life beyond this earthly existence. Your departure reinforced in my heart the certainty of heaven and hell. I rejoice that you have reached the destination for which we all strive.”
“You have completed your journey here, you fought the good fight of faith, and you have attained the eternal glory of Jesus Christ.”
“This isn’t farewell; it’s ‘see you later.’ Rest now, mama, until we reunite. You can call me ‘Don Willy’m’ from above. I love you.”
