Nollywood actress, Ini Edo announces engagement, wedding date

Popular Nollywood actress Ini Edo has announced her engagement and is excitedly preparing for her dream wedding.

IDOMA VOICE reports that the actress shared this joyful news with her fans on her Instagram account, @iniedo, on Sunday.

In a heartfelt post, Ini reflected on how meeting her fiancé during a vacation transformed her life. She wrote: “That bright Sunday morning six months ago, while on vacation, we crossed paths, and our lives changed forever. Exactly three months later, you asked me to be with you forever. How did I get so lucky?”

Expressing her joy and newfound belief in love, she added, “They say, ‘your flaws are perfect for the heart that is meant to love you,’ and I now believe this wholeheartedly. One of three done. My fairytale wedding is almost here.”

Concluding her post with inspiration, she encouraged anyone who has given up on love: “Love will find you, and when it does, ready or not, it’ll be the best thing that ever happened to you.”

Ini wrapped up her announcement with several hashtags: “#Loveisinifinite24, #MyFairytaleWedding, #SaveTheDate 20.10.24, #myfairytaleweddingtheseries.”

Naija News also notes that Ini was previously married to Edo businessman Philip Ehiagwina in 2008, but their marriage ended in 2014.

In a candid interview with media personality Toke Makinwa last December, Ini shared her relationship desires, stating that she longs for a partner who will love and respect her. She emphasized, “I cannot be in a toxic relationship. I need someone who gives me the protective energy that allows me to respect him.”
