The Northern Governor’s Forum (NGF) met, Monday, via teleconference, and discussed issues relating to Covid-19 pandemic, and slammed federal government on the measures being taken in the disbursement of palliatives to Nigeria.
Chairman of the NGF, Governor Simon Lalong, who disclosed this after the Monday night meeting said their discussion focused on how the pandemic is affecting the northern region.
He said the governors shared experience and came up with a coordinated response.
Lalong said the forum frowned at non-release of single palliative by the federal government to its members, despite having several cases of the virus in their respective states.
