NPFL: Rangers appoint Chukwudi Nwaodu as new captain

Rangers International Football Club has announced Chukwudi Nwaodu as their new captain for the upcoming Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season. The Flying Antelopes have also appointed Chidiebere Nwobodo as the deputy captain.

Nwaodu, an attacking midfielder, will be leading the team on the pitch following the departure of former captain John Uche from the club. The decision comes after Nwaodu’s impressive performances since joining Rangers at the beginning of the 2022-23 NPFL season.

As the team prepares for the new season, which is set to kick-off on Saturday, August 26, the appointment of Nwaodu as the new skipper signals the club’s confidence in his leadership abilities and on-field contributions.
