latest updates about Npower stipend payments.
The Npower Nasims management has communicated through its social media channels that the ongoing backlog of unpaid stipends from 2022 is still being addressed. This development coincides with the appointment of a new Minister within the Ministry.
It’s worth recalling that the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development, now rebranded as the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, welcomed Dr. Betta Chimaobim Edu as the new Minister. She recently assumed her role at the Ministry’s headquarters in Abuja. Her appointment has sparked optimism for the well-being of 136 million underprivileged Nigerians.
Having mentioned that, Nasims has officially affirmed that payments for Category 2 (C2) beneficiaries are actively being processed.
The payment details in the payroll tab on the Nasims portal have been reinstated. Beneficiaries can now verify their payment status using this tab.
For Npower Beneficiaries with queries about the status “Pending on payroll tab” regarding pending payment on their payroll, this might be attributed to a recent validation of your account. In such cases, your payment might still be in the final stages of processing.
Furthermore, it’s important to note that Nasims has successfully restored a significant portion of the missing beneficiary information due to the latest update on the Nasims self-service portal. This means that beneficiaries can now stay up-to-date with the latest developments by accessing the Nasims self-service portal.
