The Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN Headquarters Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), will tomorrow (Friday, October 29) celebrate their colleague and immediate past Chief Press Secretary to Benue State Governor, Mr Terver Akase at Radio House, Garki Abuja.
A statement by Chairman of the union, Comrade Sandra Udeike describes Mr Akase as their worthy ambassador who distinguished himself and built a cordial working relationship with journalists while serving as head of the Governor’s media team.
The frontline 2023 governorship aspirant in Benue State on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party, was until his appointment in 2015, a principal editor in the News Directorate of Radio Nigeria headquarters.
He had previously worked as Rivers State Correspondent of FRCN where he rose to become Chairman of the Correspondents Chapel in that state.
