The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially made available the call-up letters for prospective corps members of the 2023 Batch ‘B’ Stream 2. If you are part of this stream, you can now access and print your NYSC call up letter online for a smooth registration, deployment, and orientation process.

Key Updates for NYSC 2023 Batch B Stream 2:

Just a week ago, the NYSC Portal opened its doors for online registration for the 2023 Batch B Stream 2. Excitingly, the deployment details for this batch have now been unveiled, with the Orientation Course schedule set to commence shortly.

How to Print Your Call-up Letter:

All successfully deployed candidates can conveniently access their Call-up Letters from their personal dashboard on the NYSC Portal: https://portal.nysc.org.ng

Orientation Course Locations:

For those assigned to Lagos, the Orientation Course will be held in Ogun, Osun, and Oyo Camps. Alternatively, candidates deployed to FCT will undergo their orientation in Nasarawa and Niger Camps.

Registration Requirements:

Make sure you have the following documents ready for registration:

  • Original Call-up Letter (physical or printed online)
  • Original Statement of Result or Authorized Officer-endorsed Certificate
  • School Identity Card
  • International Passport (for foreign graduates)
  • Proof of Professional Body Registration for Medical Practitioners and Healthcare Graduates
  • Government/Military Hospital-issued Certificate of Fitness with NMA Stamp

Additional Important Details:

  • Orientation Course Attendance: Adhere to the camp location stated in your Call-up Letter. Foreign-trained graduates should bring their International Passports and original documents.
  • Safety Precautions: Avoid night journeys to Orientation Camps. If you travel after 6:00 pm, consider secure places like military barracks, NYSC Secretariats, or approved lodges.
  • Security Awareness: Parents and Guardians, stress security consciousness to your wards. Use government-approved motor parks and avoid unregistered vehicles.
  • Certificates for Mono/Polytechnic Graduates: National Diploma (ND) certificates required alongside other relevant documents for camp registration.
  • Avoid Fake Documents: Using counterfeit documents during registration is strictly prohibited and will be detected and prosecuted.
  • Lost Call-up Letter: If your Call-up Letter is lost, follow recommended steps for reissuance.
  • Non-Compliance Consequences: Failure to adhere to Call-up Letter directives may lead to prosecution under NYSC Act.
  • Ineligible Participation: Those ineligible for NYSC service attempting to participate may face prosecution.
  • Special Consideration: Married pregnant and nursing mothers not deployed to husbands’ domiciles can attend Orientation Camps in spouses’ States with necessary documents.
