Obafemi Awolowo University has officially announced its 2024 admission screening exercise’s registration dates for UTME and Direct Entry candidates.
The university stated that prospective students who selected OAU as their first choice and achieved a UTME score of 200 or above, as well as DE candidates, are eligible to participate.
The registration period begins on Monday, August 5, 2024, and ends on Sunday, September 1, 2024.
A press release on Monday and signed by the Registrar and Secretary to the Council, K.A. Bakare, titled “2024 Admission Screening Exercise (For UTME and Direct Entry Candidates),” stated:
“Candidates who made Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife their first choice in the 2024 UTME and scored 200 and above, and those who applied for Direct Entry, are hereby informed that registration for the 2024 Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination screening exercise will commence on Monday, 5th August and end on Sunday, September 1, 2024.”
The statement also noted that the screening exercise would be conducted online, and candidates must ensure they provide accurate information and upload correct credentials to avoid automatic disqualification.
“The screening exercise will be conducted online. Applicants who provide false information or upload incorrect credentials will automatically be disqualified.
Candidates are required to check their screening schedule on the OAU admissions portal from Tuesday, 3rd September to Saturday, 7th September 2024.
Candidates must also participate in the POST-UTME Screening on their allotted dates and times from 9th September to 13th September 2024.
Applicants should note that the PUTME-Screening fee is two thousand naira (N2,000.00) only (excluding portal access charges),” the statement continued.
