OAU postpones 2021/2022 matriculation indefinitely

The management of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, has postponed the 2021/2022 matriculation ceremony until further notice.

In a press release from the Director, Academic Affairs, Murtala Agbaje and made available by Abiodun Olarewaju, the institution’s Public Relations Officer, the university stated that a new day and date will be communicated to the general public and those concerned in due course.

The press release revealed that the OAU management took the decision to postpone the matriculation in the interest of all.

While apologising for the inconveniences the postponement would cause, the university advised the students to continue attending their lectures and other academic activities.

The matriculation ceremony had earlier been scheduled for Wednesday, March 9, 2022.
