The Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has spoken after the rally held by his supporters in different parts of the country on Saturday, stating that citizens spoke with one voice.
According to the former governor, ‘Obidients’ took to the streets in Lagos, Bauchi, Benin City, Warri, Osogbo, Kaduna, Uyo, Aba, London, New York, and other places to show solidarity with the party.
Reacting to it on his official Twitter page, Obi said that the day would go down in history as a day Nigerians spoke with one voice.
According to him, the message from the convergence in different regions shows a new Nigeria is possible.
“Dear OBIdients, today will go down in history as a day Nigerians spoke with one united voice; the message is clear and simple.
“A NEW NIGERIA IS POSSIBLE! From Lagos, Bauchi, Benin City, Warri, Osogbo, Kaduna, Uyo, Aba, London, New York and many more, OBIdients made a bold statement with generally very peaceful rallies.
“The very young, and old men and women in their millions marched in solidarity and in support of our collective vision of a New Nigeria.
