Ace entrepreneur and philanthropist, Hon. Alex Ogbe Enokela has formally shifted grounds politically by Joining the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Hon. Ogbe decamped to the PDP at his country home, Ilaba Ugboju, on Monday 13th December, 2021 and had thousands of his supporters defecting to the umbrella party at different wards of Otukpo and Ohimini in solidarity.
The Federal House of Representatives aspirant who doubles as the Managing Director of Ochacho Foundation defected to the PDP over the unending and incessant leadership crisis rocking the APC in Benue.
While addressing his supporters, he urged them to be focused, steadfast and relentlessly aiming the title which is the ultimate goal
In his words: “I want everyone who believe in the LIGHT course to look beyond and see our destination and not how we started.
“The love, cheer and support we have received lately from the PDP family is overwhelming. As I formerly become part and parcel of the family today, I’ll respect every member and decision of the party.”
“I thank and appreciate all those who made this day and moment possible. May God bless and strengthen us more.” He added.
Hon. Ogbe was formerly received and welcome by Hon. Major Agada, The Principal Special Assistant to Governor Samuel Orton of Benue State on Security in (Zone C), Hon. Michael Audi, Member representing Adoka/Ugboju State Constituency at the Benue State House of Assembly, Hon. Barr. Joshua Ogbole, Former Member of the Benue State House if Assembly, Prof. Agbo Madaki, Hon. Egli Johnson Ahubi, Permanent member at Benue SUBEB representing Benue South Senatorial District, Hon. James Oche, Executive Chairman of Ado Local Government Area of Benue State.
