Hon. Oche Joseph Godwin, the founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of G12 Foundation has Friday January 3rd, 2020 held a town hall meeting with shoe makers in Otukpo.
Hon. Oche and the Otukpo shoe makers during the meeting dialogued on several ways on how to improve the shoe making industry in Idoma land to meet up with international standard.
The philanthropist asked the footwear producers to meet among themselves and finalized on whether they want to start up a shoe making depot in Otukpo or in need of advanced equipments to compete with the industry in Aba and report back to him in a week time.
The G12 foundation CEO promised to push the project before the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) to get attention from the government but will make sure that he puts the necessary structure on ground for the industry to kick off and have a spot in this year’s international trade fair exhibition, adding that necessary arrangements have been made with the National coordinators of Nigeria’s international trade fair to exhibit the shoes made from Otukpo.
Earlier before the meeting, Association of Okada riders in the LGA came to pray and shower blessings on Hon. Oche G12 for his good deeds.
Let it be know: Hon. Oche “G12” is currently training 5 Idoma children in the university abroad.
He recently empowered no fewer than 280 persons in Ugboju and Adoka by distributing over 200 sewing and grinding machines to the Otukpo residents.
He also re-electrified Adoka center, Uga, and Ogobia by donating transformers to the areas and providing the necessary equipment for the projects.
He has contracted Gift construction company Ltd to work on the road that links Ifete and Ofloko communities in Ugboju, etc.
