Oche presents Certificate of Return to Dr. Stephen Onmeje, heaps praises on Benue ex-Deputy Speaker

James Oche has showered torrential encomium on Dr. Stephen Onmeje, a former Deputy Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly for his fatherly support that has helped him emerge Executive Chairman of Ado Local Government.

In updates made on his social media handles, Oche particularly wrote the following:

“One among the longest ever serving State Assembly Deputy Speakers in Nigeria’s history, Dr. Stephen played the fatherly role based on his innate convictions and determination to help me succeed. In the build up to the process, he defied sleep and comfort and showed cause at all fora why it should be me. This is an honour I will never forget.

Known for his honesty, Dr. Stephen stayed true to his words. On the election day, he went all over to ensure everything was in order and follow up with the process up to the collation centre and stayed till the declaration of results, thereby ensuring that he saw his efforts to fruition . I have no justification to betray this uncommon trust and fatherly support.

May God bless you with long life, good health and the wisdom to continue to beam the searchlight of love and of truth in our dark paths.

God Bless Hon. Dr. Stephen Onmeje
God Bless Ado Local Governments”
