Ado Local Government Executive Chairman, James Oche has made a passionate appeal to the Benue State Coordinator of Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (BN-RAAMP), Engr Mone Aernyi to consider Ado to benefit in its programmes.
Oche made the call yesterday when he paid a courtesy call on the State Coordinator in his Office in Makurdi, the Benue State Capital. Oche pleaded that, his domain was grossly in short of rural access roads and was similarly lacking in agricultural support projects and solicited Engr. Mone’s support through the agency he was coordinating.
Reacting to the Chairman’s plea, Engr. Mone said RAAMP was committed to touching the lives, particularly of the rural people and promised to, in using his position, ensure that Ado Local Government enjoys preference in its consideration of beneficiary areas. He also appreciated James Oche for the work he was doing.
You may wish to note that, the Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project is a Federal Government ideology financed by the World Bank, the African Development Bank (AfDB) and the Agence Francaise de Developpment (AFD) and is targeted primarily at impacting the rural communities with accessible roads and agricultural support.
