Och’Idoma not dead – Palace source

The news of the death of the paramount ruler of Idoma community, HRH Agabaidu Elias Ikoyi Obekpa is untrue, a palace source has said.

The source insisted that the king is very much alive and even had a meeting with his cabinet on Saturday.

The insider lamented that people no longer respect culture because of social media.

He warned that those going about with the news on social media will incurre the wrath of Alekwu K’Idoma.

He said, “The same Agabaidu that had a meeting with some members of his cabinet on Saturday dead? That is a white lie.

“Kings don’t die. Those going about with the news should be careful so as not to incurre the wrath of Alekwu K’Idoma.

“Youths of these days no longer have regard for culture because of social media.

“Pease disregard the report and let the people know out Agabaidu lives forever.”
