Senate President Dr. Bukola Saraki has revealed that he has gotten the anticipated letter from the Police which demand only a written explanation of his alleged involvement in the Offa Bank Robbery on 5th April, 2018
The Senate President in a statement via his official twitter handle stated that “Following my earlier tweet, I have received the letter from @PoliceNG. They are no longer asking me to appear at any station, but to respond in writing to the allegations within 48 hours — which I plan to do,”
The tweet came in moments after Vice President Yemi Osinbajo met behind closed-doors with Mr Saraki and police chief, Ibrahim Idris, as well as the head of State Security Service, Lawal Daura, at the State House Abuja on Monday 4th June.
