Official: See where the newly-approved Federal Polytechnic would be cited in Benue

It is now official that the Federal Polytechnic approved by President Muhammadu Buhari would be located in Wannune in Tarka Lolca Government Area of Benue State.

A letter signed by Arch. Sonny Echono, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, and addressed to the Minister of Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs, George Akume, showed that President Buhari has approved a takeoff grant of N2bn for the new institution from the funding resources of TETfund

The letter sighted by IDOMA VOICE indicated that academic activities in the institution would kick off this year.

This has finally laid to rest the claim in some quarters that the new poly would be headquartered in Adikpo, Kwande LGA of the state.

See letter below.
