The Benue State Government has donated the sum of 500,000 to the family of the late Ogah Jumbo Ochigbo, the Civil Defense officer killed by police few months back.IDOMA VOICE learnt that the state government made the donation during the burial of the slain officer in his country home, Akpegede in Otukpo area of Benue State during the weekend.The state Governor, Samuel Ortom, who was represented at the burial ceremony by Abel Adah, Chief of Staff to the Deputy Governor, Benson Anounu, commiserated with the bereaved family over the unfortunate incident.He assured that he would always check on the family from time to time to know about their well being.He prayed God to give the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
