On The Killing Of Assistant Superintendent of NSCDC, Jumbo Ogah Ochigbo
The Nigeria Police Force PRO, Frank Mba said the following;
1: He was wearing only the trousers of the Civil Defence uniform as such would not be recognised just mere looking at him and sitting inside the car.
2: The Force PRO briefing newsmen said that the slain officer drove himself to the station and taken to the charge room and while he was been asked some simple preliminary questions, he slumped and died in the process.
3: The Police Authority are claiming the late man had BP issues
The Wife of the Deceased;
1: The slain officer’s wife said he was beaten to death by the policemen in front of her and the kids even while begging that they should not harm her husband.
2: He was driven in their hilux van to the hospital by the police but noticing the man had given up the ghost without her even knowing, they abandoned the body in the car and took to their hills before she knew her husband had passed on.
QUESTIONS AND CONCERN
*The Force PRO Frank Mba said, the deceased officer drove himself to the police station before slumping and confirmed dead by the hospital later, but we are asking was he beating repeatedly with a club as alleged by the wife and kids?
*How did they know the man had BP issues so soon shortly when he died?
*What happened to their security language of esprit de corps?
*Why did the Force PRO not wait on proper investigation before embarrassing him self and the Nigeria Police at large before pressmen?
THESE ARE THE MANY QUESTIONS NIGERIANS SEEK FOR ANSWERS IN THIS UNFORTUNATE INCIDENCE THAT CLAIMED THE LIFE OF OFFICER JUMBO.
