Ogbadibo decides: Ai-Oji community asks Friday Iwodi to step down, backs Akola

Ai-Oji community in Otukpa has called on one of the chairmanship aspirants in the forthcoming Local Government election in Ogbadibo, Friday Iwodi to step down ‘for the interest of peace and oneness.’’

The group warned Iwodi against being used to distort the zoning arrangement in the community.
A sponsored statement issued and sent to IDOMA VOICE on Friday, the community asked the aspirant, who had since gone to court over the primary, which produce Akola as the APC flagbearer to drop his sword and give the zoning formula a chance..
The sponsored statement reads.
“Before you do anything, think of the future consequence. It was a consensus agreement among the APC caucus that Ogbadibo LG chairmanship seat be zoned to Otukpa, precisely Ai-ooji in which Ai-oono ward 1 was considered And Hon Simon J AKOLA was produced as chairman from the ward.
We recently discovered that some politicians from Ai-Oodo have been dragging this zoning with Ai -Oono from the same Otukpa while Owukpa and Orokam had already queued behind the chairmanship candidate, which Ai-Oono had presented to Ogbadibo on the platform of the APC.
We are saying this because of tomorrow. If chairmanship seat is zoned to Ai-oodo and Ai-Oono begins to drag it with them, hope it will please them?
Please, for the interest of peace, Hon Friday Adoga Iwodi should drop his sword…and give this zoning a chance.
