Ogbadibo model college Otukpa set to reopen (Photos)

By Prince Sunny Inedu

In the days ahead, Ogbadibo Model College, Otukpa and other schools in the three districts of Ogbadibo local government, namely Otukpa, Orokam and Owukpa (the 3 Os) will wear new looks, before the commencement of the next academic session in September, 2019.

Hon Prince Samuel Onuh expressed his displeasure over the dilapidated condition of the school, when he went on an inspection of Ogbadibo Model College in Otukpa. He mandated the Supervisory councillor for Works and Housing, Hon Chris Oduh, to engage the council Engineers and get him the bill of quantity for work to commence without much ado. He said trust worthy contractors with good antecedents will be engaged all the way, for timely and quality job delivery.

The Head of Education department and the school Principal who doubles as the Assistant Information officer of Ogbadibo local government were left in a joyful mood, as they exclaimed that ‘A NEW DAY HAS COME’ to Ogbadibo. They said Hon Prince Onuh is an answered prayer personified.

It is worthy of note that, Ogbadibo Model College, Otukpa was deserted and abandoned in its deplorable state by past administrations. The school had since been shut down, but the Ortomatic Chairman has promised to resurrect it and make it operational in the next academic session.

The supportive Vice Chairman, Ochigbo Domfrank Alechenu, Hon Monday Idoko; Council Secretary, Hon Agbo Sylvester; the Chief of staff, Hon Chris Oduh, Supervisory councillor for Works and Housing and the Media Gurus ( Cletus Emoche Agada and #PrinceSunnyInedu ) were also in that team.
