The members of Ogbadibo Legislative Council rose from their meeting on Thursday and recommended the immediate suspension of the Executive Chairman of the council, Hon. Sunday Ojo The letter which was dully signed approved by the Leader of the House, Hon. Frank Onuh and handed to the office of the Chairman through the Clerk of the House, recommends that the Chairman should proceed on a 3-month suspension for what the Lawmakers described as his “low performance” since he assumed office six months ago.It could be recalled that the last Legislative Council under the leadership of Hon. Julius Ali suspended the then Executive Chairman, Hon. Clement Agada for a period of three months, twice before the tenure elapsed. If this notice of suspension is eventually assented to by the Benue State House of Assembly, it would make Ogbadibo to be the first Local Government to have suspended the sitting Chairman under this dispensation in Benue State. It will also translate that Ogbadibo LG has the highest cases of rumbles, both in-house and legislative-executive wise.
