The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the forthcoming local government election in Ogbadibo, Hon. Sunday Onaji, has attributed his victory at the just concluded party primaries to Almighty God and the good people of Ogbadibo.

In a statement signed by the Director of Media and Publicity of his campaign organization, Yemi Itodo, Hon. Onaji also thanked the Ogbadibo PDP, for finding him worthy of flying the flag of the party in the forthcoming local government election.
He particularly acknowledged the roles played by Hon. Chris Adabah Abba, Hon. Joe Ojobo, Prince Gabriel Obekpa, Chief Mohammed Itodo, Hon. Mathew Ochigbo, Hon. Ijiga Okoh, Amb. Ogbe Obande, the party Chairman, Hon. Vincent Amuche, among others; at ensuring a smooth and peaceful conduct of the primaries in Ogbadibo.

While appreciating his co-contestants in the race, for their friendliness and selfless sacrifice for the unity and development of Ogbadibo, Hon. Onaji called on the people to join hands with him to ensure victory at the poll, so that they could work together for the uplifting of the council.

The PDP flagbearer said he was overwhelmed by the confidence reposed in him and charged supporters to sustain their goodwill in the main election scheduled for June 3rd.

A total of four aspirants unanimously stepped down for Hon. Onaji who hails from Olaochagbaha Ward, the only area that has not produced the Chairmanship of Ogbadibo LGA, since inception in 1991.
