Super Eagles midfielder, Ogenyi Eddy Onazi, has promised to partner Ado Local Government in organizing grassroots sport competitions in the Local Government in order to expose young talents to better career opportunities.
The professional who plays for Danish Superliga team Sonderjyske said this yesterday when he paid a courtesy visit to Ado Local Government Chairman, James Oche in his country home of Apa- Agila.
Mr Ogenyi stressed that, he was impressed with the passion James Oche injected into leadership and said the sports partnership would be his way of supporting the chairman. He presented the Chairman with a jersey and further charged him to keep up the good work.
Reacting, James Oche appreciated the soccer star for his kind gesture and words and reminded him that he was a motivation to many young men and women who had taken to sports and also charged him to continue making Benue State and Nigeria proud.
