Ohanaeze: Uzodimma declares war on those that burnt down George Obiozor’s house

Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State has blamed the destruction of the house of George Obiozor, President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, on “political bandits”.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the Imo governor condemned the attack by violent politicians bent on destroying the state despite several appeals.

The governor promised that those behind the “cowardly attack”, would be brought to justice as security agencies were on the verge of fishing them out.

“The time of those who unleash this kind of mayhem in the state is over. We shall hunt them down to face the full weight of the law,” the governor promised.

He said it was “shameful that these criminals deployed their malicious attack on an innocent man,” a non politician and statesman “working for the good of the entire Igbo race.”
