Nigerian music executive and talent manager, Demola Ojabodu alias Ojahbee, who was arrested on Monday morning at one of the “ENDSARS” protest in Lagos,has been released by the police.
Ojahbee who was one of the unarmed youth protesting against the continuous brutalization melted on youths by the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) unit of the Nigeria police, was released midnight Monday following a public outcry.
According to actor-turn-lawmaker, Desmond Elliot who broke the news via his official Facebook page, the Speaker of House of Representatives, Mr Femi Gbajabiamila was instrumental for his released.
He wrote, “Ojahbee released.
Mr Jon Billion, Hon Ajani, Demola Ojabodu (Ojahbee), Jon Desmond Elliot and Bar Timi Olagunju. Immense thanks to Rt hon Femi Gbajabiamila.”
