The lawmaker representing Apa/Agatu Federal Constituency, Ojotu Ojema, has been appointed as the Chairman of the House Committee on Inland Waterways.
Ojema, a cleric, who is a first timer in the lower legislative chamber, won his election on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
He defeated the sitting lawmaker, Godday Samuel to clinch the seat.
