IDOMA VOICE reports that there was pandemonium in the ancient city on Saturday after some heavily armed gunmen invaded the community from neighbouring Olo and opened fire on residents of the town.
Among those killed, IDOMA VOICE gathered were: a retired police officer, soldier and two siblings of Ada Godwin a former Commissioner in Benue State.
Also, Vincent Okoko Odo, former Secretary to Okpokwu LGA lost his brother in the attack.
Meanwhile, the police said investigation was ongoing to bring those behind the attack to book.
