Okpokwu Ogenyi inaugurated as member of Governing Council for Nigeria French Language Village

Former Benue State governorship aspirant, Comrade Okpokwu Ogenyi, has been inaugurated as a member of the Governing Council of the Nigeria French Language Village, Badagry, Lagos State.

IDOMA VOICE reports that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu approved Ogenyi’s appointment to the council, which is chaired by Labiru Musa Kafur, alongside four other members.

Speaking shortly after his inauguration, Ogenyi, a renowned activist, described the appointment as a significant responsibility entrusted to him.

He assured his commitment and dedication to fulfilling the role.

Ogenyi expressed his gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for considering him suitable for the appointment.

He also thanked APC National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, for his support.

“This appointment is not just a personal achievement but a testament to the trust placed in me to contribute to the development of our nation’s educational sector. I pledge to work diligently and ensure that our goals for the Nigeria French Language Village are met.”
