Okpokwu: Robbers butcher 2-year-old baby over mother’s inability to produce money in Benue community

Gunmen suspected to be armed robber last week killed a two-year-old baby over the mother’s inability to produce cash in Ugbokolo in Okpokwu LGA of Benue State.


It was gathered the heavily armed gunmen had invaded the house of the woman, a resident of Umadewu area of the crisis-ridden community and demanded for undisclosed amount of money.

IDOMA VOICE gathered that despite all the begging from the woman that she does not have any cash at home, men of the underworld snatched her two years old daughter and butchered her.

A source hinted this reporter that the gunmen threatened to cut of her neck if she raises alarm.

The deceased had since been buried.
