The remains of the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Saliu Adetunji, were laid to rest at his Popoyemoja palace shortly after the burial service held at the Mapo Hall in Ibadan.
The body was lowered into the grave on Sunday evening amid wailings and eulogies from family members and other sympathisers and thereafter, the body was eventually initially covered with planks.
