Nigeria will be peaceful, blessed, fruitful – Oluremi Tinubu

The First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, on Tuesday declared that Nigeria would be a peaceful, blessed and fruitful nation.

Mrs Tinubu also prayed that the country would not experience barrenness but would continue to prosper.

She made the remarks during the commissioning of a water supply network project in Bwari Satellite Town, Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The project was among the initiatives lined up to mark President Bola Tinubu’s third year in office.

Representing the President at the event, the First Lady made the declaration while reading from the Bible passage, 2 Kings 2:21.

“As a minister of God, I would like to add a scripture from the Bible, 2 Kings 2:19-21. You can all go and read it. I use this water project as a point of contact to say a prayer for our nation, and specifically verse 21: ‘Thus says the Lord, I have healed this water; from it there shall be no more death or barren land. Her nation shall be peaceful, blessed and fruitful in Jesus’ name,’” she said.

Mrs Tinubu concluded by praying for blessings upon the Federal Capital Territory and Nigeria.
