Results from the ongoing Ondo governorship election, has put Rotimi Akeredolu, incumbent Governor of the state in early lead.
Akeredolu, who the All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship candidate is more votes from the results coming in from polling units across the state.
The governor is battling to retain his seat against Eyitayo Jegede of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Agboola Ajayi of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP).
Although Jegede and Ajayi have pulled their weight in certain polling units (PU) and local government areas, Akeredolu has generally garnered more votes.
