Reports from the scene indicate that the Correctional Service bus was traveling at high speed against traffic, having departed from Okekura Correctional Service. Eyewitnesses recounted how the driver lost control of the bus, leading to a horrifying collision with pedestrians, including motorbike riders, street vendors, and passersby.
Regrettably, one individual lost their life instantly, while two others, who remain unidentified, sustained critical injuries and were promptly transported to the hospital.
