One killed, four suspects arrested in Delta rival cult clash

One person has reportedly been killed as rival cult groups, Eiye and Vikings, clashed in Ozoro Community, the headquarters of Isoko North Local Government Area, Delta State.

The violent incident led to the closure of commercial activities in the community on Monday night, with traders and business owners fearing stray bullets during the prolonged shootout.

Delta State Police responded by arresting four individuals suspected to be involved in the clash.

The tense situation unfolded for several hours, causing heightened concerns among the local residents. Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe, confirmed the incident with a brief WhatsApp messageThe message read, “confirmed.”
