Operation Zenda committed to ripping Benue of criminals (Photos)

Men of the Nigerian Police code name Operation Zenda in Benue state has achieved yet another milestone in the fight against crime within the state.
The men under their commander, CSP Justin Gberindyer has rescued a staff of Benue state Government from the office of the accountant general of the state.
The staff was kidnapped on Thursdays evening at about 5pm at his residence in makurdi by unknown gunmen who trailed him to his house from the office.
The kidnappers demanded a ransom of 50 million naira from the family and Benue state Government. The swift response of men of the Operation headed by the commander CSP Justin Gberindyer achieved his released from the kidnappers without paying any ransom.
Briefing newsmen in Government house the commissioner of Police CP makkudas handed over the rescued victim to Governor Samuel Ortom stating further that investigation into the matter is still ongoing. the commissioner however refused to disclose to newsmen if any arrest was made. The Operation recovered an AK47 rifle with ammunition, various hand sets and other communications gadgets.
Reacting on the issue, the Governor of the state Dr. Samuel ortom thank the men of the Nigerian Police as well as the inspector general of police for a job Weldon. Governor Ortom commended the men for rescuing the men unhurt and pledged his administration support to fighting all forms criminality within the state..
It is on record that men of Operation Zenda under the current leadership of CSP Justin Gberindyer has been living up to the core mandate upon which the Operation was created by the then former Governor of Benue state Gabriel Suswam.
