By: Ekere A.A

“Those who had eaten out of the food of the gods are definitely owing the gods”

Itabono Owukpa has produce more political office holders at all levels of local, state and federal government compared to other parts of Owukpa, yet, the road leading to their ancestral home is still in the state of comatose. They all must be made to draw attention of the appropriate authorities to this death trap we still call road.

The failure of this set of leaders is no longer a news, the news is that the road is strategic to Ogbadibo economy and increase internally generated revenue of the local government. Consequently, needs urgent attention.

Owukpa land is highly fertile in production of several cash crops that attracts business minds to the area from Enugu and other neighboring states.

Currently, the Enugu state government has put the road that link Benue to Enugu state through that axis in a very good condition, all that’s needed is for our state to fix and link the Itabono road to it and business will flow in easily.
