Rejection and mockery are part of the devices of the enemy, the Devil, to frustrate your powered concentration. It is a conscious spiritual attempt by the invisible powers of darkness to puncture favourable thoughts about yourself. But the forces could as well be rightly aligned to propel us sooner, or later towards victory.
Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr., who had represented Delaware for 36 years in the U.S senate before he finally became the 47th VP, and now on November 7th, 2020 becomes the 46th President-elect of the U.S.A.
Biden`s life had faced series of tragedies and setbacks. In an auto-crash, he lost his first wife, Neilia, and their one-year-old daughter, Naomi, leaving their two young sons critically injured. Years after this incident, his son died of brain cancer, and likewise, Senator Kamala Devi Harris, who is the first ever female VP-elect in the history of the U.S:A, and additionally, an African-Asian had also lost her mother to cancer at a very young age.
Consider the story of Joseph who was rejected and mocked by his brothers, yet God used it to build him up and made him a better person. At God’s appointed time he became a ‘Prime Minister’.
The enemy has come to steal, to kill and to destroy therefore, it is not the humans used in this act that should be confronted but the forces of darkness behind them.
It is of the truth that demons cannot work without the human body and that is why most times they will use people to attack you even without their knowledge. Therefore, people who mock and reject others always try to present strong reasons to justify their evil actions.
Do not swallow the poisonous juice of bitterness that squeezes out from the merciless acts of rejection and mockery.
No! You can spit it out, not by retaliation but by ignoring the culprits of this human disaster.
Be happy that you are valuable and precious before God. Bring on creativity and common sense into play and move on to greater heights. Be bold and fearless, yet humble and kind.
Refuse to succumb to mediocre, plunge into the treasures of your destiny like a researcher. Life is an adventure, and it can not be smooth, be ready to sail on the rough seas so that the ride could be balanced. Stop making yourself look like a victim. Victors are not born, they are made, anyone can be a victor or victim, but it is your outlook that determines your output.
“I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. … The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.”
– Long Walk to Freedom, 1995
Every successful plan started as a picture in the mind, therefore don’t allow the rejection and mockery of whom you are and where you are today, becloud your success psychology.
The pain and injury of mockery and rejection are always hard to bear but it is a valid ingredient in the making of hero that we all dream to become.
There is no glory without a story. Therefore, there is no hero that has not had their taste of this divine justice. Jesus was mocked and rejected, think about it, stand up and move and you will triumph in the end.
The recent event in the United States of America (USA) is a classic example of the price for greatness, leadership, and nation building.
The victory speeches made by both the President-elect Joseph Robinette Biden Jr., and the Vice-president elect Senator Kamala Harris was a healing balm expected from great minds and leaders at a time like this.
Comparing the Nigerian situation and many other troubled Nations in Africa with the American reality, it is very clear that the two are poles apart. Unfortunately, in Africa, we have very weak Institutions, the system encourages; abuse of office, corruption fused with materialism.
This is the sad reality of our dear country Nigeria and many other troubled nations in Africa where similar narratives apply.
It is saddening that despite the global outrage over the recent unbridled inexplicably misuse and abuse of power by the Nigerian government, under the leadership of Major General Muhammad Buhari Rtd., leading to excessive use of force by Military on October 20 2020; #LekkiMassacra where our compatriots and vibrant youths protesting peacefully, holding the Nigeria flags and singing the national anthem, many of whom were shot dead by the Nigerian Army……under the command of Major General Muhammad Buhari and Tukur Buratai. Unfortunately, the government has become increasingly intolerant and continued with the same impunity reign of terror that led to the protest.
We, therefore, pray that very soon God will personally take charge of the situation in Nigeria as he did in America.
Finally, yet again, even though, the rejection and mockery we experience today are part of the devices of the enemy, the Devil, to frustrate your powered concentration. It is indeed a conscious spiritual attempt by the invisible powers of darkness to puncture favourable thoughts about yourself. But we believe that the forces will be rightly aligned to propel us sooner, or later towards victory.
“Things work out best for those who make the best of how things work out.” John Wooden
Dedicated to the loving memory of our compatriots across the continent of Africa, who sacrificed and paid the ultimate price, particularly, the victims of extrajudicial killings, including those who kept faith and courageously spoke against poor leadership.
Conclusively, the joy of history and victory in America today, should serve as a model for reinventing the wheel of progress in Africa and the tonic for emancipation in the black continent. To the oppressed citizens and our compatriots across the Nations in the beautiful continent of Africa…”But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy Nation, a PECULIAR people; that ye should shew forth the praise of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
