Ortom emerges ‘Best Governor’ in North Central Nigeria

The Government of Benue State under Governor Samuel Ortom, has been nominated for the award of ‘Most People-Friendly and Transparent Government in the Middle-Belt of Nigeria’ by OMAKI INTERNATIONAL COMMUNICATIONS in conjunction with OPTION FM and PAN-AFRICAN MAGAZINE INTERNATIONAL.

According to the organisers, the nomination for the award is sequel to the people-related projects and programmes embarked upon by the administration of Governor Samuel Ortom in Benue State and the rapid response to the welfare of the people of the state in the face of biting economic hardship spiraling the nation.

Another point of consideration for the award is the Benue State Government’s transparent dissemination of information on the management of resources of the state.

The award will be presented to the Government of Benue State, along with other notable recipients at the Award and Gala Night in Akwanga, Nasarawa State, on December, 27th, 2016.
